I hope you didn't use all the pebbles up. They are a bit sparse there. We all dug massive holes on that beach 2 years ago - maybe they were still there?
Fantastic beaches all along that coast and purple pebbles just like in your landscapes! I had no idea what a visually exciting part of the country Devon is. I'm going back in October to Cornwall. The beaches and landscape just have so much artistic potential. I will be visiting St Ives which seems to have been a bit of a Mecca for artists. Can't wait
Hi - once you've got the North Coast in your blood, other places are not quite the same.We found some amazing beaches again this year - smaller and rockier but with less "grockles" (in Devon) and less "Ennits" (in Cornwall). Tintagel is amazing. I've heard that the Tate in St. Ives is an amazing building but not so much what's in it.
